Background:
The road layout which includes the junction of More Lane and Church Street has had an unacceptable accident record for many years and is the single worst junction in North Surrey. There was clearly no option but to address this problem urgently by means of a major Road Safety Improvement Scheme
Project Description:
Our experience has shown that schemes such as these have the greatest effect if they are supported by the local community. The aim was simply to inform the public of the options available through a clear and easily understood exhibition. In this way those most affected can be part of the Study, the Plan and the Solution.
